Iowa to Receive More Fed Ed Money

Via WHO News:

Iowa will soon get millions of dollars in grant money to help struggling schools.

The U.S. Department of Education announced Monday Iowa will get $3 million in school improvement grants. The money will go to the state’s lowest-performing schools who have shown a commitment to using the money to provide adequate resources and raise student achievement.

And showing that commitment means they have used the money in the way that Arne Duncan and company prescribes.  Oh joy.
