Action Needed: Come to Statehouse This Monday

Iowa-State-Capitol-December-2014The Iowa House Education Committee has a subcommittee meeting to discuss the common core-related bill HSB173.  HSB 173 is a bill that addresses the core content standards, assessments, and curricula relating to student academic progress, and to the collection of and access to student data. Subcommittee members:  Jorgensen Chair, Forristall, and Winckler

We MUST have people show opposition to COMMON CORE and COMMON CORE ASSESSMENTS!

Location: House Lounge, (Iowa Capitol Building)

Meet on the main level of the Capitol building at 10:30. Enter the visitor entrance on the south side of the building. Go up one flight of stairs.  We will go over some information than head to the meeting room around 10:50.

 **After the meeting it’s important we visit with House Committee Members, and individuals should speak with their personal Representatives.**
